Hedge Fund Internship

The Internship Role:

We are looking for a Hedge Fund Intern to join our team in our Stamford, CT office for a 3-month program. Working in collaboration with the Head of the Hedge Fund Investment Due Diligence (HF IDD), the Hedge Fund Intern's role is to support the HF IDD function with several ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist HF IDD colleagues with the preparation of research and analysis
  • Participate in calls/meetings as directed and write up notes
  • Ensure proprietary database is maintained with up to date information, including relevant emails and records of meetings and calls
  • Other projects: any other ad-hoc projects as requested by the Head of Hedge Fund IDD
  • Precise accountabilities will vary by the skill set of the intern, most will involve a mix of quantitative data analysis and participation in the broader investment due diligence process.

What we’re looking for

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Studying towards a college degree
  • Interest in financial consulting and/or alternative investments is preferred
  • Good communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comply with terms of Albourne Compliance Manual and other Albourne Policies and Procedures

Job Pay: $25/hour

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours a week

Duration: 3 months

Location: Stamford, CT/Hybrid

Work authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States
