The Role:
The Portfolio Group at Albourne plays a crucial role in delivering investment advice and maintaining daily interactions with our clients. We are seeking a Portfolio intern this summer for a 3-month period to assist with various projects and to learn about the alternative investment industry. Throughout the internship, there may be opportunities to engage in additional tasks and gain diverse experiences within the firm.
Responsibilities:
- The intern will work with the Connecticut Portfolio Group team to address team projects. These projects have historically included assisting client teams in calls, preparation of client presentation materials, the construction of client analytical tools, gathering performance information, and assisting in the evaluation of AI-focused tools, among many others.
- Work expectations include prompt integration with the portfolio group teams and leveraging the data & processes available to achieve the project goals. You should anticipate providing twice-weekly updates on progress to managers.
- The intern may be asked to help on other projects outside of the Portfolio Group (e.g., with our Client Group, Risk Advisory, or Due Diligence groups) but should expect that these projects will all be client-linked.
What we’re looking for:
- Graduated or nearing completion of University bachelor’s or associate's degree.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
- Business writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with leveraging LLMs in a project-focused capacity and/or the creation of AI Agents via Copilot is a positive.

Job Pay: $25/hour
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours a week
