Campaign Finance Internship – von Nida Consulting

We are seeking candidates to join a Democratic political consulting and fundraising firm as a Campaign Finance Intern. This internship is based in New York City.

With a diverse team and clients, we bring a deep understanding of the importance of representation in politics. Our clients include Democratic U.S. Senators, political candidates, committees, and organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and prospect current and potential donors.
  • Assist campaign staff at fundraising events as needed.
  • Manage and navigate fundraising tools like NGP and ActBlue.
  • Draft event and meeting memoranda.
  • Use Excel, Word, and Google Suite to organize data.
  • Update and maintain relevant documents and financial trackers.

Requirements:

  • Commitment of 5 hours/day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  • Strong interest in politics.
  • Self-sufficient, communicative, highly organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Deadline: We would like to fill this position as soon as possible.

Compensation: $16.50/hour (minimum wage)
