A Technical Intern will be responsible for supporting the company’s Digital Platform AI Operations Team. During the program our Interns will receive an orientation to the company and engage in challenging projects evolving around the rapidly changing healthcare tech industry. Interns are paired with industry professionals and mentors and will be given opportunities to stretch their skills and enrich their knowledge base to achieve a greater understanding within technology.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship program (May 19th- August 8th).
  • Enrolled in an approved academic program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or a related field of study.
  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
  • For the Veteran internship, candidates do not need to be students as military experience and training can be substituted for educational experience.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

Students will be assigned to a specific group within the Digital Platform and AI organization based on skill set and need of the business. Students should have experience and education in:

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner.
  • Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

Role specific

Data Analytics: Knowledge of Machine Learning/LLM knowledge, Data visualization Python, SQL, Power BI, Statistics, Deep Learning Algorithms & Big Data Technologies  (Hadoop as an example), Natural Language Processing, Software knowledge, Automation

Engineering: Knowledge of various technologies such as, but not limited to Java, Python, C++, Software Development & Testing, Software Development & Architecture, Cloud Computing, APIs, Database Management, AI, ML, AWS, Snowflake, RDBMS, Dev Ops

* This internship is in our Norfolk, VA office, student must be willing to relocate unassisted for the role.
