Marketing Intern (Spring)
You will be an integral part of the CMMB Marketing team and will be supporting the analysis and execution of marketing activities. Key responsibilities in this role includes analyzing fundraising results, creating reports, and supporting the execution of email/digital ad campaigns.
General Duties and Responsibilities
·Analyze fundraising results in real-time to produce actionable insights and report out on key performance metrics, ROI, and goals.
· Support execution of email campaigns and leverage eCRM/email system to include automations and segmentation.
·Contribute to the writing, editing, and design of emails with an eye on formatting, proofreading and brand compliance.
·Support production of digital ads across platforms like Google, Facebook/Instagram, and other platforms.
·Help advance focused segmentation strategies to increase donor acquisition and retention.
Required Skills/Experience
·Currently enrolled college student, preferably a marketing or business school student.
·Strong data analytics, writing, and editing skills.
·Understanding of digital data and analytics, with experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
·Understanding and experience with advertising on Facebook/Instagram, Google, Bing, and others.
·Understanding and experience with Google Analytics, along with a good understanding of how GA works and how to develop insights from testing and analyzing campaign results.
·Some HTML/CSS knowledge.
·Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
·Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator) skills a plus.
· A preferred minimum of one year of experience in marketing, business, or related field. (In lieu of professional experience, students with relevant coursework are encouraged to apply. Hands-on training will be available.)
