Summer 2025 intern: Private Equity Secondary Investments

CF Private Equity is one of North America's most prominent institutional investment management firms. Our global professional staff of over 50 serves over 800 investors including insurance companies, single and multi-family offices, mission-based organizations and pension plans. We have managed over $23 billion of private capital commitments since inception, including ~$3.0 billion in secondaries. We are currently seeking candidates for a ten-week internship position starting in the summer of 2025. The position would be within CF Private Equity’s Secondary Team, with the stated goal of converting the individual(s) into a full-time employee upon graduation.
This position is based in Darien, CT.
Primary Responsibilities:
▪ Price leveraged buyout, venture capital and real asset investment funds
o Build detailed financial models to analyze investment merits
▪ Underwrite the individual assets in each fund gaining broad exposure to hundreds of companies across multiple industries
▪ Monitor existing secondary investments and performance
▪ Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
▪ To be considered for the 2025 Summer Analyst Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
o Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
o Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2025 – Spring 2026
o Resume must include expected graduation month / year and GPA
o Resume must be in PDF format
▪ 1+ years of relevant course work (Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, etc.)
▪ Strong analytical skills, including use of Microsoft Office Excel for quantitative analysis
▪ Ability to complete assignments independently and on a timely basis
▪ Ability to collaborate with other team members to accomplish broader goals and objectives
▪ Strong analytical, oral and written communications skills
▪ Self-motivated and resourceful; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results
