Production Intern

The Highland Center for the Arts is looking for a dedicated and creative production intern to join our team and assist with the preparation and construction of Fairy Fest 2024. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be involved in building, painting, and assembling sculptures and other installations on the Highland Center grounds in order to bring the enchanting world of Fairy Fest to life. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the arts and a willingness to learn and collaborate with our artistic team.

The intern hired for this position will be part of a UVM-sponsored cohort of interns working with a range of organizations in the Northeast  Kingdom who are supporting Community Resilience.  The position includes free housing in a Sterling College residence, participation in a week-long community orientation along with 6-8 other UVM interns placed in partner organizations and weekly intern cohort workshops for professional development, networking, and reflection and a final sharing event on Wednesday, July 24 from 12-3pm.

As a production intern at the Highland Center for the Arts, you will not only play a key role in the success of Fairy Fest but also contribute to the overall production quality of our ongoing programs and events, ranging from concerts to yoga classes. You will have the chance to work on a variety of tasks and projects that will enhance your skills in production and event management.
