Student Engagement Data Intern
The Office of Assessment & Data Analytics for the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh is hiring two interns.
Key Responsibilities: Interns will assist with gathering feedback from Pitt students through surveys, focus groups, and other creative methods of gathering data (social media, polling, etc.). Interns will promote surveys and enhance data collection methods. Interns will also work with staff to prepare data for analysis, practice using various data analytic and visualization methods, develop reports and other methods to share results with students and administrators at Pitt.
Interns will have the opportunity to develop communication, and technical skills while working with data, as well as the opportunity to see how data can impact decision-making.
Expectations: Intern duties should be completed by December 18, 2026 to receive a scholarship for tuition and other expenses up to $960.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current student at the University of Pittsburgh
- Positive attitude, curiosity, and a willingness to be creative and innovative
- Experience with (or willingness to learn) tools such as Excel, data visualization platforms
- Strong communication an organization skills
