Data Management Intern- Performance Venue
Stone Church (Live Music Venue) Intern
This position is part of a cohort of 10 UVM summer interns working with organizations that support the Brattleboro community, including resettled New Americans, in partnership with the Brattleboro Development Credit Corp and the School for International Training (SIT). The UVM Leahy Institute for Rural Partnerships will fund a stipend of $4,000 per intern and provide housing at the SIT campus in Brattleboro, Vermont.
Stone Church is a live music performance space in a beautifully restored gothic church on Main Street in Brattleboro, Vermont. It hosts over 100 concerts per calendar year. The mission of Stone Church is to nurture and cultivate the music ecosystem in Brattleboro, building community through the best shows around.
Intern Responsibilities
- Compile, organize, and develop a plan to communicate the financial data from past shows- ticket sales, concession, merchandise.
- Utilize VenuePilot ticketing platform's back end.
- Discern trends and patterns to inform the booking of future shows
- Assist staff during shows in the box office & with the production team

- Communications- constructing newsletters & developing social media campaigns
Mentorship
- Intern will work most closely with office team and owner Robin Johnson
- Weekly check-ins with Robin to assess progress
- In addition to Robin, intern will work with office staffers Erin & Hannah
Deliverable
- Intern will present a system of organizing data from past shows that is easily digestible, with a clear plan for how to maintain it into the future
This internship would be a combination of office work during weekdays, and working events. Days & hours are largely flexible.
