Want to get hands-on experience running social media for a mission-driven startup?

Join TechPals, a fast-growing social enterprise helping older adults feel confident using technology. We're looking for a creative and organized Social Media Fellow to help manage and grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

You'll work directly with our team to plan content, draft posts, and engage with our community — all while learning what it takes to build an authentic, values-driven brand online.

This is a remote role with a flexible schedule (~5-10 hours/week) and lots of room for creativity and ownership.

💬 What You’ll Do

Content Creation – Come up with post ideas and draft content (text, image, or video) for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

Engagement – Monitor comments and messages across platforms; reply with kindness, clarity, and curiosity

Scheduling & Posting – Help schedule and post content consistently (using Buffer or similar tools)

Audience Growth – Suggest ways to reach new followers while staying true to our voice and mission

Analytics (optional) – Track what’s working and bring ideas to improve reach and engagement

✅ You Might Be a Great Fit If You…

Are familiar with Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn (posting, tagging, etc.)

Have experience creating or managing content for school orgs, internships, clubs, or personal projects

Love coming up with creative ideas and turning them into posts people want to read or share

Are organized, self-directed, and comfortable working asynchronously

Bonus if you’ve used tools like Buffer, Canva, or Squarespace
