Spring Audit Internship
The Spring Audit Intern participates in a comprehensive audit training program to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of audit. Our team is passionate about all things audit and takes pride in sharing that enthusiasm. Following training, Interns begin working on audit sections across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, technology (SaaS), professional services, and non-profits.
The Audit Intern works closely with staff, seniors, and in-charges, to complete assigned tasks. As a productive member of the attest practice, the Audit Intern supports the team in providing accurate, timely, and value-added work products to the team.
Responsibilities
- Draft work papers with clear and concise documentation.
- Apply foundational accounting standards and academic knowledge.
- Follow instructions effectively while meeting time budgets and project deadlines.
- Maintain strict adherence to client confidentiality standards.
- Build professional oral and written communication with client personnel to foster positive relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Develop a basic understanding of each client’s business to identify potential issues and recommend value-added solutions.
- Communicate openly and honestly with team members to promote collaboration and trust.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field of study
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, teamwork and organizational skills
- Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- PC proficiency, including spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software applications
